Ah! But now it is happening to the
wireless laptops and the registry setting that fixed the gigabit cards has no
effect on the wireless laptops. Intel Pro/Wireless LAN 2100 3B Mini PCI
Adapter getting IPs from DHCP going through a Blue Socket Wireless Gateway
which points to an AD server for validation. It seems to definitely be a timing issue
where WXP continues on before the card is fully initialized and functioning
because sometimes after 5-15 minutes the network card begins to work, but I’m

are going to follow the instructions to disable media sensing and see if it
works. In the mean time, our Network
