I tested with WXPSP2RC2 and ran into minor issues with GPO templates, only
if you are administering with the W2K3 Administration tools.

See the section under Change and Configuration, Compatibility of
Administrative Templates With Windows 2000.....although it does mention a
work around I did not try it...

Like everyone else we're looking at this.

Does anyone know of or heard of any issues with using a XP sp2 workstation
to administer a Windows 2000 based Active Directory domain?

I've read through the MS docs and I couldn't find any functional changes  to
XP in this regard.
