It turns out the syntax was wrong on the Unix/Ldap side. All is well now. Thanks.

Have you removed the pre-signing etc from the W2K3 Active Directory?

Subject: [ActiveDir] Ldapsearch utility connecting to Windows 2003

One of our developers is working on a project to populate user accounts in our AD from an OpenLDAP server. The command she is running is:

/opt/bin/ldapsearch -x -W -H ldaps://see.uchicago.local -D 'cn=username,dc=uchicago,dc=local' cn=kerby_sync

And she gets the following error:

ldap_bind: Invalid credentials

additional info: 80090308: LdapErr: DSID-0C09030F, comment:

AcceptSecurityContext error, data 525, vece

Has anyone ever come across this issue?
