Getting some strange errors in my DFS setup. First noticed it in the DFS gui tool where it will not display all the roots under a particular domain. We can display them without problem but typing in the root and names but cannot explore to them. Other domains work just fine. Then played a little with the W2K3 DFSUtil tool and get the following:
dfsutil /domain:\\ccanet /view
Microsoft(R) Windows(TM) Dfs Utility Version 4.0
Copyright (C) Microsoft Corporation 1991-2001. All Rights Reserved.
No roots exist on domain \\ccanet
System error 1130 has occurred.
Not enough server storage is available to process this command.
Done processing this command.
There are 12 DFS roots in this domain. We are in the process of upgrading some domain controllers from Windows 2000 to Windows 2003 and have demoted a couple of servers out of the envionment and promoted others in. We currently have 29 domain controllers spread acrossed the country, most are still W2K. Doing a google search, most of the hits are about making registry changes but what server would I make these to? Would I change the domain controllers or the servers hosting the roots? Anyone else seen this problem?
Thanks for any help
