If you start an RDP session on WinXP and click the
'Options' button, you can select the 'Local Resources' tab to tell the remote
desktop client to print to the local printer.
You'll need to put drivers for the local printer on the
term server for that to work.
Also a pretty nifty link with lots of TS info is http://hem.fyristorg.com/vera/IT/TS_printing.htm
Rick From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of John Parker Sent: Thursday, September 30, 2004 5:03 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [ActiveDir] Network Printing via Terminal services Hey
all,
I am working on a
project where 3 offices will be linked together via point to point
T1's.
The main office will
house the server with the two satellite offices term serving in to do their
work.
Each satellite
office has a print server with an HP4K attached that is mapped to the local
users workstation.
My question is
thus... Will the users be able to print from their term serv session to their
local network printer?
Seems like it
should, just looking for some input.
I hope I explained
this well enough.
Thank you ahead of
time.
