That's what I thought as well.   The value is the correct type (REG_SZ) and the GPO is enforced, but I am still having the same issue.   The weirdest part is that RSoP shows that the settings are applying, but does not actually apply.   Does anyone else have an idea? The GPO doesn't have to look at the path. All the GPO does is punch in a registry value and its up to Windows to find the file. It will work fine if you just enter in the .scr file name and don't put a path. I've tested this and it works as expected. So I suspect you have another problem. Also note that this registry value is not of type REG_EXPAND_SZ, which means if you put something like %systemroot% in there, Windows will not expand that value correctly when the screensaver path is resolved. You would have to put in C:\windows explicitly.
