I have the following Exchange 2003 Setup:

Back-end server backend1.domain.com
Back-end server backend2.domain.com
Front-end server frontend.domain.com

I would like to make sure that all machines send messages though the
front-end server (default sends messages through the server the mailbox
resides on if using a MAPI client, which is the back-end server). Unless
I misunderstand what I am reading, I would just have to do the following
to do so:

Enter frontend.domain.com in the "smarthost" field under
\Delivery\Advanced options of the SMTP virtual servers on backend1 and
backend2.

This sounds too simply, so I thought I would pass it by everyone here
before doing anything. Is this the correct way of doing so? Are there
any other tasks I should perform?
