Hi Simon

It seems that Microsoft now recommends you use ADMT v2 for computer account migration
and not Movetree.

http://www.microsoft.com/resources/documentation/WindowsServ/2003/all/techref/en-us/Default.asp?url=/Resources/Documentation/windowsserv/2003/all/techref/en-us/movetree.asp

"Use the Active Directory Migration Tool (ADMT) included on your Windows Server 2003
CD-ROM to move Active Directory objects such as user, computer, group, and OU.
MoveTree should only be used in special cases to handle objects (such as contacts)
which cannot currently be migrated by ADMT. "

Don't forget that you can also use movetree.exe for migrations if the two
domains are in the same forest.

Subject: [ActiveDir] Computer Account Migration Using ADMT v2

I wanted to find out more information about how to migrate Computer Accounts
using the ADMTv2 utility between AD Domains in the same forest.
Before I search the web I wanted to find out who here had information on
this. Thanks
