Good idea, I will run that today. THANKS From:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of David J. Kinsella Sounds puzzling but it
might have not refreshed perhaps get it to do so Automatic Updates know that
they are all installed. Just to make sure perhaps run MBSA. Regards, David J. Kinsella From: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
[mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On
Behalf Of Douglas M. Long This is something odd that I have ran into. I have automatic updates
set to automatically download and notify me when ready. I had not installed the
patches from the October and November critical patch set. I assumed that these
patches were downloaded and ready to install, so I decided to run windows
update to install any patches that may have not been downloaded and install any
that were downloaded. Windows update found no patches that needed installed,
and I have nothing downloaded for install. I then decide to check add/remove
programs to see what patches are intalled....and ALL the patches from October
and November were installed. I am the only one with access to the machines. The
only thing I can think is that they were somehow installed on a power failure
(a circuit was popped) about a week ago. Does this make any sense? Is this a
possibel scenario? I cant see any other way that they would have been
installed. Any insight would be highly appriciated. |
