Well, LDAP is what would be used to determine the unify address.  There is
an on/off option to turn on the feature of unifying.

You can say that again.  I was very surprised that their support told me
this isn't necessary and not supported.  Their support forums were offline
for over a week but I see they are online now so I'll try that too.  It was
the developer of the LDAP feature that looked over my request and said that
it's not supported.
