Dan,

Are you looking to get the names of all of the DC's in a given domain or
forest? And, as to Primary/Secondary, as of Windows 2000, that really is
not a concern any longer. Each DC is a peer, read/write, but one does still
hold a Primary Domain Controller Emulation role (PDCe, for short).

Do you have access to this domain - i.e. load up the Active Directory Users
and Computers tool and llok there? If you look under the Domain Controllers
OU, all DC's for that domain will be listed.

There are other methods to gather this information, scripted, etc. Let us
know what you're looking for.

Subject: [ActiveDir] domain controller name

Hi,
Sorry if this has been asked.
Is there a command that can give me the domain controller's names or ip
addresses? And if there is will that tell me witch of that domain controller
is the primary one and witch is the secondary?
Thanks,
Dan
