The employeeid attribute was also present in the Windows 2000 AD Schema.

The attribute isn't visible in Active Directory Users and Computers.
Perhaps your schema modification was to make it visible (using display
specifiers)?

What is this Employee ID? in my AD currently there is no such thing I
had to modify the schema and do some changes to make a field that
looks like an employee ID
Is this a new field in AD 2003 for example?
