An AD integrated DNS zone can only be hosted on a domain controller because
it is part of the AD database.  Is your DNS server a DC?   If you have an AD
integrated zone you should see it in AD users and computers under
"domainname\system\microsoftdns" .  You will need to enable the advanced
features view in the MMC in order to see the system container.
