Dan, Been working with Clusters for a number of
years, and I have never heard of this. I can ping a couple folks, but I
can’t surmise what the problem would be. If data is re-ordered, the
disk is going to work fine one way or another. -rtk From:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Dan DeStefano It has been suggested to me that W2k’s built-in
defragger should not be used to defrag a shared disk in a MSCS cluster. I am
hesitant to believe this since the fact that the servers are clustered does not
change how the data is written to the disk, correct? So, is there any
foundation for this belief? _________________________ Daniel DeStefano PC Support Specialist IAG Research T. 212.871.5262 F. 212.871.5300 Measuring Ad Effectiveness on Television The information contained in this
