Gil-
Heard of it, looked at it--it basically puts a nice face on
the event tracing data provided in Win2K and Server 2003. In the past I've found
that data to be voluminous and not altogether useful, esp. around AD, but I
think SPA does a decent job of rolling it up into a more meaningful format and
much easier to use interface than the horrid command-line tools provided by
event tracing. What I don't see in SPA, which you can get from the raw event
tracing data, is timings and system performance data for specific LDAP queries.
Maybe I'm just missing it.

Maybe I should rephrase the question then. Has anyone
_heard_ of Server Performance Analyzer?

Has anyone on the list used SPA to evaluate DC performance? If so, what
were your impressions? Was the data useful? Was the product easy to figure
out?
