I'm not aware of an updated version, however, most of what's written in the 2000 whitepaper is still valid in 2003 AD. An important addition I'd consider for hosted environments is working with AD object quotas (providing you'll allow decentral administration).

I've read the whitepaper "Deploying Active Directory in a High Volume Hosting Environment" ( http://www.microsoft.com/serviceproviders/whitepapers/hvh_ad_deploy.asp ) and have setup a lab based on this paper that works well. I am wondering though, if anyone knows if there is an updated whitepaper that incorporates some of the changes introduced with 2003 AD?
