Ben, You should at least logon again to get the
new credentials. Your access token will be reconstructred when you logon and
any new groups will be added. Also, make sure the policy has been
replicated to, and is being applied by, the DC that is acting as your logon

Behalf Of Ben D. Kusa When I add user's to the Built-in Administrators group
they don't always have local administrator rights, I'll try and do
an install and it will tell me I don't have administrator rights or if I
try and change the name of the computer it will be grayed out. If I then use
the Network ID option to add the user to the administrators group they will
then have local rights. Is there something I am doing wrong, or is there a way to
refresh the rights a user account should have from AD. This e-mail and any attachment is for authorised use by the intended recipient(s) only.
