Hi! I have som troubles setting the search filter rules in an address list on my exchange server when using the scandinavian characters � (U+00E5), � (U+00E4) and � (U+00F6).
It seems like the characters "�" and "�" are equivalent with character "a", and "�" are equivalent with "o". E.g if setting the filter as following: "((&objectCategory=person)(givenName=�s*))" -Outlook then displays ALL users beginning with the character "a", if selecting that address list in the address book. The character "s" seems to be ignored(?). -If using the preview function in the exchange system mananger (when looking at the properties of an address list), it displays all users beginning with the characters "as", but no users beginning with "�s". We are using english Exchange server 2003 on a Win2k server with the regional settings set to swedish. Are there any configuration settings needed to make a filter match the correct users when using these characters?` Any help is appreciated.
