Thanks to all those that replied. It turned out that I was backing up the "Information store" and the information store files (like regular files). It seems to me that if you back the information store up correctly that it should flush the logs, even if you also back those files up incorrectly during the same backup. Either way, it is working now, and I just wanted to thank everyone for the OT subject.
