it affects all workstation, users privelege it not administrator
but is "Restricted user" maybe if I change them to "user" might correct the problem,
when the user turns own their workstation message pops that passwrod will expire and question if to change if user say yes and enter his new password this error occurs, could it be that because user has not login yet that is why damain could not be found.(its seems logical to me) I think I need to change the user's privelege to "User" first. will try and keep u inform.

I ask because I had a similar problem with some users and it turned out that that user were trying to change their passwords before the 'Minimum password age' had expired. I can't remember the exact message but I do recall that it was completely misleading.
