If similar to the logic which applies to user passwords, then 0 means 'never'. i.e. the machine need never change its password and will not be prompted/forced to do so.

Is there a burning need to alter the default?

Subject: [ActiveDir] Machine account password age

Hi,

I want to set the minimum machine account password age for windows 2003 server.

We can set the password age between 0-999 days.

What is the meaning of 0 days? I mean after how much time it will change the machine account.

Can some one tell me the logic if I set it to 0 days.

Thanks,

Manjeet
