turned on first, Mike. Setup a rule in MOM to pickup the particular event

Hogenauer Ok cool
question then. I just
(literally) finished installing MOM 2005. In a prefect
world I’d love real-time alerts and also weekly reports because the VP’s love
pretty graphs J but for now
I just want to get notified when an account is deleted and or created. I do have
auditing setup in the domain. Will MOM
notify me of these alerts? (yes I’m in the middle of reading the manual as
wellJ)

On Behalf Of joe Are you looking for
real time alerts or just a daily/weekly report? If the former, enable
auditing, set up MOM or some other event log scraping tool and have it fire
alerts. If the later, set up a
script that queries the directory looking for new user objects. That is
combination of a filter for user objects with a filter defining you want objects
created after a specific date or USN value. From:

Hogenauer Does anyone
know of any good tools that will notify me if a new AD account is
Created/Deleted? I have a lot of remote DCs and admins and I want to be notified
when they add or delete an account. I have auditing setup on their account and I
run Eventcomb daily for 630 events but I’m looking for a tool that will send me
notifications. Thanks in
advance Mike
