Hi Freddie, I think one week deadline is rather un-realistic. Go back to your boss and ask for the security, user and desktop policies. If they don't have any of those then how can they expect to have a "standard" lockdown/look 'n feel to their desktop environment?
Once you go through the policies you can then match those to group policy settings and/or security policies.
