Subject: [ActiveDir] deleting specific values from multi-val attribute

We have a multi-values custom attribute that is used with one of our
applications. Some of the values stored there for some users are obsolete and
I've been asked to clean them up. So I'm looking for a method to look at each
user object, enumerate the values in this specific attribute, and delete the
value that matches what I'm looking for, while leaving the other values of
the attribute alone. Any advice on this? I have some scripts I can alter - I
just need to understand the enumeration of the attribute values. Thanks
