I thought it might be that too. The web server is a non-Windows one. I also attempted to take the existing files and copy them to a USB thumb drive which was FAT versus NTFS and the same files still did not copy. The file perms on the web server are set apparently correct since when I take them on a different computer they upload fine.
All virus/malware scans come up negative. I've run McAfee, Symantec and AVG all with the latest definitions and engines.
