I use it all the time to build 2000 and 2003 servers. The only reason I can see why Microsoft customers may not want to use it is only becuase they are unfamilar with it. It was not available when I first startred bulding servers using NT 3.51 and NT 4.0 ( I don't even recall Ghost being available until 1997 ) and I am sure that it just is not covered much in the Microsoft MOC on server.

Microsoft has extensive documentation on using sysprep for server deployment. In fact, it's documented even better than sysprep for desktop deployment. They seem pretty serious about the technology, but their Windows Server 2003 customers don't. Why is that?
