Look and see if you have a filesystem policy on the msdtc dir. I’ve
seen this in baseline policies that are *too* secure. From:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Blair, James All, On numerous of servers I have noticed in
the Event Logs that on reboot the MSDTC Service fails. On some servers we have
to use: msdtc -resetlogs net start msdtc however on others, due to the
aforementioned not working, we have to remove and install i.e. msdtc -remove msdtc -install -d %windir%\system32 -l
c:\windows\system32\MsDtc net start msdtc I was wondering if any of you have
experienced this. The finger is getting pointed that one of my server
baseline Group Policies that "broke" this and I would like to
resolve it. Thanking any of you for any input. James |
