Which account are you using?  If it is not the administrator account it could be something to do with being allowed to add 10 computer accounts to a domain before being granted privs.

I have had success joining my OS X.3.8 and later clients to the domain, but now I can't. The Mac gives Unknown error after I click Bind then enter domain user account. It does not get thru any of the 5 steps. I ran addiag; it gave the following failures:

The console on my Mac gives the following error msgs:

I first verified network settings on the Mac; name server is correct, dhcp address is valid, dc pings, I can mount SMB shares.

This is a new G5 with OS X.4.
