I would just goto their website and join the VMTN.  You can setup threads to notify you if you want.  The also have a NNTP server, but I think their portal is much better.  You can also create one of your own using MSN, Yahoo, or Google groups.

On a related OT, if anyone could point me in the direction of a good VMware ESX list, I’d appreciate it. I’ve searched around, to little avail.
