Server 2003 sp1... uh.. don't do that... you need to load it all on a
SBS box.
There are known issues with just applying the Windows server sp.
What's the manufacturer and did you get all their bios/rom updates
before applying that Windows 2003 sp1?

I thought so. Dell? Lemme go google on the KB that talks about how they have
a funky method to get into that recovery console.

I tried acessing recovery mode and set it back but i cant access any
files...i even tried to set the boot.ini file back...doesnt work either: access denied......
In recovery mode i can see the files by the dir command but cant change anything.
Tried registry repair utility: same message access denied
At last i tried a parallel install prior to rebuilding the operating
system...but after selecting a new folder on the harddrive for that installation it stops when examining harddrive (25 %).
Its a raid 1 (mirror) array....all i can think off now is that there is
something wrong with the partitions / array.
Pls help.
