Of hand I don't know that you can determine if it's enabled or disabled at the BIOS level...the Win32_BIOS WMI does tell if legacy USB is supported.
More on the Win32_BIOS class here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/wmisdk/wmi/ win32_bios.asp -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Mark Parris Sent: Thursday, October 20, 2005 11:00 AM To: ActiveDir.org Subject: [ActiveDir] OT USB enabled in the BIOS Hello, I am writing a little scriptlet that searches the AD for all workstations and tells me if the USB ports are enabled on the PC, at the moment I can only seem to query the OS for Hub and Controller information, I would really like to query the HP Bios to find out if at the hardware level it is enabled or disabled. Is this possible and if so what is the correct parameter?
