Intel has been shipping EM64T-capable Xeon's for about that long. Most of us probably have multiple boxes capable of running 64-bit Windows and we don't even know it.
Even our new desktops have EM64T Pentiums. We don't specify it -- they just ship that way. 12-18 months from now, I think many orgs will be pleasantly surprised to learn that they've been buying x64 boxes for over two years.
