Hi,

I have not tried it myself, but for that I guess you could enable audit success
on object access in the DD GPO and on each workstation enable auditing on
executing files starting from Program Files and lower (and possibly other
dirs). The events are logged on local workstations. Although it may work, it
would not be my choice.

To record what apps are being used by users on their workstations you could
better use SMS 2003 with its Asset Management features. For more info see:
http://www.microsoft.com/smserver/evaluation/features/default.mspx

Cheers,
Jorge

Subject: [ActiveDir] domain policy audit question

Hello,

I want to track the applications that users open on their client. What security
option must be set to audit in domain policy so we can track the applications
that clients open in event viewer?

Thanks in advance

roseta
