If the mailboxes aren't in the same org you get to use Exmerge
 
 
 or use Outlook to download everything to a PST and then connect to the new server and upload everything from the PST.

Hi,

 

We have decided to move our server from Server 2003 Standard to Small Business Server 2003. The problem is I need to know how to backup the 5 Exchange mailboxes we have on it. The idea would be to backup to another hard drive and then restore the mailboxes on the new OS. How would we do this? Baring in mind we can’t use the wizard and move them as there wouldn’t be a new server to move them too.
