What you _should_ start and what are started by default may be
different. :-)
 For the fresh out-of-box install, you can try this:

A google search for "windows 2003" "default services" will lead you to a
number of articles about this, many of which will help you evaluate
which ones should be on or not. If you have SP1 installed on your W2K3
servers, the SCW will also give you a recommended set of services for
the particular server role. You can pull that info and use it to
populate your monitoring box...
