This was very helpful. I will try to create the script. I have looked at
a lot VB of examples on TechNet and coming from C++ the script looks
easy to create, theoritically ;-)

DSQUERY User -samid "samid"

Although in ADUC you can see this by doing a search for the name,
looking at properties then going to the object tab.

Dear list,

Does anyone know of a script that, when a domain username is entered,
would locate which OU the account is located in if, for the sake of
argument, the OU structure in AD was designed in a way that user
accounts were separated?
