It’s was a long way to travel London – Vancouver last year but I went with an open mind, but I found the event to be very informative and I am glad I went.   This year I am doing the west coast trip again to experience the delights of DEC and this year to cater for varying levels of AD prowess, there is a normal level track and a “super size my brain” track.   You will probably have the opportunity to win a few prizes and Gil has a book that I am sure he pretends to give a way every year on AD programming.
