My team used that tool briefly when we first deployed our Active Directory in 2002. As I remember we had to make a number of modifications in order for it to work, and it was a good little tool once we got it working.

Eventually when we moved to .NET Framework and ASP.NET, we wrote a custom tool similar to that for our environment.

Subject: [ActiveDir] WebAdmin Tool Setup

Hello:

I have been playing around with the WebAdmin (Build 13) tool that was posted to the list a few months ago. While I can get the basic site to work, I get some errors when trying to actual make a change (or add, delete, etc) to an object in the domain. I seem to be getting a lot of HTTP 500 errors which when I turn off the friend errors in IE, say:

error '8007001f'

/webadmin/Lib/Main.asp, line 1434

My Googles for that error do not turn up anything meaningful: lots of stuff about Windows Media Player and Windows 95.

Any thoughts on what might be the problem?

Thanks.
