I patch in my jammies remotely from home...there wasn't anyone in the
office to complain :-)

Just a follow-up question.. Did anyone try to launch Outlook while the
install was happening? Is so, was there any problems or prompts that
the end-user received?
Thanks to all.

You know about the LIS issue?
You need to ensure that the 2003 local installation source wasn't
mooshed or horked
E-Bitz - SBS MVP the Official Blog of the SBS "Diva" : Getting prompted
for your Office 2003 CDroms?:

Microsoft is blaming most of the SP2 problems on the Local Installation
Source - LIS. This is the cache of Office 2003 installation files kept
on your hard drive (usually in the /MSOCache hidden folder) to speed up
any repair processes needed. If you do a 'Disk Cleanup' in Windows the
LIS appears as 'Office setup files'.

Group,
Off Topic Question - I realize that this is a WSUS question and this is
an AD forum. SO, I hope that I do not offend anyone or get banned for
asking this question...
I just wanted to know what everyone's experience has been when
deploying
SP2 for Office 2003 using WSUS. I would like to know if it was a
silent
install, any problems, and/or any suggestions that someone may have.
Thanks,
Steve
