The AD structure is an empty root multi-child domain structure with the
domains have a geologically grouping. I am familiar with the root and two
of the children domains. Of these domains no domain controllers have been
created or decommissioned for some time.

I was told that someone initiated a scheme update (for SMS 2003) a "few
weeks ago." From the date that I was told the update occurred about a week
and a half before we began to see these errors. This update would have
occurred on a root DC in Ireland. I have a root DC in my location in the US
with direct site links between this locations. Replication has indicated
that these two DCs are synced with each other.

We are receiving the second error that I have listed on almost every DC that
my servers replicate with. The first shows up on directory partitions on
about half of the domains in the forest.

Is there anything else that might be helpful? I'm not sure how I go about
tracking what change isn't being replicated so that I can find out how where
it came from. That might help us to track down how to correct the problem.

Thanks,

Charlie

Have you done a schema update. Can you give some background as to how you
got to this stage? can we have some details of the environment.
Which DCs are replicating OK? Have you built or decommissioned any DCs
recently?
