I got all the way to fixTheBloominSound before I woke up from my “Wow, I had no idea how OO the whole OS is.” stupor.

Subject: RE: [ActiveDir] (off topi) Sound problem

It sounds (heh) like the problem is related to the Sound connection object which is objectClass deviceSpeaker. I would recommend triggering the SounDProp thread by firing the fixTheBloominSound operational attribute.

Subject: [ActiveDir] (off topi) Sound problem

I apologize if this question isn’t exactly about ACTIVE DIR, but I have this problem in a member workstation and I need help

One of our users has a sound card installed in his computer. It was working fine till some time ago. But suddenly it is installed in Device drivers, but there is no sound, When I go to Control Panel > Sound and audio devices, there is no audio device available. I tried to re-install it, but it didn’t work. The card installs wok, its ok in devices, but there is no sound, I tried many things....   and the worst....     the user needs the sound for his job.,....

I wait for your help
