Hi All

I having a two node clustered exch, and MOM is in place to monitor
the ups and downs. Recently MOM has been pushing the following error
msgs:

  Description:
The value for the Registry key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\HeapDecommitFreeBlockThreshold is not
configured correctly or does not exist on this server. This server has
equal to or more than 1GB of RAM and the value should be set to 262144.
Please see the Knowledge Base of this Alert for more information.

This event was generated by the script: "Exchange 2003 - Check
HeapDeCommitFreeBlockThreshold Registry Key"

Action-: I modified/included the above registry key on each cluster
node. But MOM still complains that the said registry key value is not
active on exchange virtual server. ???

Secondly, I am constantly rcving this error msg from MOM as well. My
environment has two GCs

  Description:
There are not enough GCs available. There are fewer GCs configured
than are specified as the minimum number of available GCs

  Action-:

I tried to resolve this one by means of modifying the parameters of
“AD Client GC Availability” under MOM Admin Console. I changed the value
of the minimum number of GCs that must be contactable from the client
at all times to two. I believe MOM by default the minimum number of GCs
that must be contacted  is three.

Please share your experiences with, alternatively if you know good
MOM list kindly point me there.

  Many thanks -
