I must be well past the beer-thirty for me, but I'm not getting enough information to understand what you're doing. I understand that you want to find a way to hurry up the end result, which is to let the user have access to something. But it seems critical to understand what that something is to understand where the lapse in expectations is occuring.
Can you elaborate? What exactly are you doing that you want to speed up the process for? Can you give us step by step?
