Dear all, i think this may be a really daft question but anyways !!

reading up on strategies for ADM / sysvol management for Windows 2000

just wanted to wonder how the Windows 2000 group policy editor resolves the 
scenario
of an ADM file not being present on the machine which is view/edit the GPO that 
has
registry settings set by an administrator created ADM file

does it do what GPMC seems to do an download it from the ADM directory in what i
think is termed the GPT (sysvol/adm), presumably to the local 'INF' folder ??
