You can either create a "soft screen" that will only log violations, or a "hard screen" that will actually prevent the user from saving the errant file. It's only based on the .??? file extension, so a savvy user could rename song.wma to song.txt and save it. (But if that behaviour were taking place, I would consider it more of an HR issue than a technical one.)
