true.... when invited you can activate it on the connect site and play around 
with it

That was definitely the first place I checked, and unless I'm blind (which I've 
been accused of many times by the way), I don't believe it's an available 
option on the connect website to test.

 

I'll probably end up just using my MSDN copy in our test environment to create 
a Longhorn DC.
