Hi all
I recently inherited a domain where one of the executives has a "-1" after the account name in the "User logon name (pre-Windows2000)", e.g. Lisa-1. This is a problem from the old migration from NT 4.0/ Exchange 5.5 to Windows 2000 /Exchange 2000. I located the account that has the correct logon name (an old webmaster account with no mailbox). Can I change the Webmaster account (Lisa) with the correct logon to a -2 (Lisa-2), change the proper account to the correct logon name by removing the -1 (from Lisa-1 to Lisa) and still have correct mailbox access? I realize that I'm probably going to have to reassign permissions to the network folders and I'm comfortable with that.
Thanks all
Russ
