I don't know specifically, but I do remember seeing that some of the
DesktopStandard product line is to be rolled into the MS branded Microsoft
Desktop Optimization Pack for Software Assurance, due in Spring/Summer 2007.
I would think it to be a safe assumption that the former DesktopStandard
products included will be ported to Vista by release. If Policy Maker isn't
one of the products in this pack, then I would guess that it won't be worked
on until after that product is released.

Subject: [ActiveDir] MS / Desktopstandard

Does anyone have an idea when Microsoft will update the DesktopStandard
Policy Maker product to support Windows Vista? The support staff at
DesktopStandard isn't sure about "Policy Maker" product updates now that MS
owns them but said they heard that it could be 18 months. This would
basically prevent us from deploying a single Vista PC for 18 months..
