Check to see if the DNS has a root zone (a period, or a "." zone). If it
does, remove it and if needed, manually configure forwarders (such as you
ISP's DNS servers). Dcpromo is known to do that when you do not configure
your DNS server manually in the right manner.

Hi,

 

The internet is not working after a sucessful DCPROMO. This is a secondary
DNS server. What are the things I need to check to troubleshoot the problem.

 

Any suggetion is highly appreciated.
