What type of zone was it? Was it just a Standard Primary or AD Integrated?

In one of our domains we had 2 DC´s. one of them a GC, Now one of them is down, and in the other, the "Forwards lookup zone" is empty. How can recreate the forwards zone? Is my subdomain lost? How can I recover the dns configuration?
